The millenial generation seems to have a large amount of anxiety

The millenial generation seems to have a large amount of anxiety, stress and isolation...I feel social media, texting and the technology designed to being us closer really leaves us just further apart most of the time...

While I appreciate the sharing and interaction of social media...  stop the comparison! We are perfectly imperfect and a work in progress at the same time....  when we find ourselves comparing and judging self or others.... Ask what we are feeling and why is it real or just perception, a symptom of attachment or expectation...

Staying in the bliss of each moment just appreciating the magic of the breath, the body, nature.   Even allowing our self the experience of perceived sadness, pain, loneliness has been a great teacher to allow myself to just be this year.

" Instagram, a photographic medium, where all the evidence suggests that people are in fact happily leaving their apartments all the time....

An added benefit of posting about staying in is that it can double as a form of personal branding: A way to assert control over your social anxiety, or a rebuff to the cultural pressures that can make young people feel like duds if their personal lives aren’t full of constant glitz and adventure.
